But especially considering the Pamir, Hindu Kush, and Karakoram ranges west of the Indus. 1. Chadar Trek

The Chadar experience can be summed up as surreal, but the trek has plenty of unique elements. As well as the mesmerising landscapes, dizzying temperatures and exhilarating treks. Zanskari his Indian naivety, adaptability and receptivity to extreme challenges attracts most trekkers.

As for the track’s history, when thick ice formed on the Zanskar River in the winter. It became easier for residents to use it as a bridge to cross over to the other bank and collect supplies. As the story goes, trekking through Chadar was so dangerous and unpredictable. The villagers cleared their debts and dues before starting the trek. And prepared themselves in case they were swallowed by a river on the journey.

2. Beas Kund Glacier

Beas Kund is the birthplace of the mighty river Beas. The river begins at the glacier and flows through picturesque meadows surrounded by mountains. You can see Hanuman Tibba, Friendship Peak, and Shitidhar from Beas Kund. With the help of  Beas, you can easily find the Dhausadhar and Pirpanjal ranges.

One side is Pir He Panjar Mountains and the other side is Dhauladhar Mountains. Beas Kund is also a popular spot for shepherds. They can be seen camping with their flocks and guard dogs.

3. Har Ki Dun

Har ki dun delights trekkers which are rich in flora and fauna and offers breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains dominated by Mount Swargarohini. The trek from Sangkuri to Osla sees a wide variety of trees, animals and plants. The Govind Wildlife Sanctuary is on the way and you can see many animals such as parakeets and vultures.

There are many beautiful campsites that make hiking an unforgettable experience. The sunrise view is probably one of the most beautiful sunrises you have ever seen. You can also pitch your tent by a river or in the middle of a valley and see billions of stars every night.

4. Chandrashila deoria tal

A popular hiking trail for climbers of all kinds, Chandrasila thrives with galleries of colourful flowers and lush green meadows, rhododendrons, reds and pinks, and stunning snow-capped peaks. En route to Chandrashila Peak, you’ll encounter herds of peacocks and deer. The entire route runs along the enchanting Lake Deoriatal.

Chandrasila is famous for its majestic sunrise. The low hills adjacent to the summit are clear and offer panoramic views of abandoned houses in the distance and the summits of Nanda Devi and Kedar. It’s nothing short of a miracle.

5. Kashmir Great Lakes

Also known as ‘India’s Most Beautiful Trek’, the Kashmir Great Lakes  Trek includes seven spectacular highland treks.

A beautiful place to enjoy the beauty of nature and adventure. A hike through the maple trees offers beautiful downhill views of nearby villages, including the village of Sonamag. Some of the spectacular lakes are Ghazuaam, Krishnassar, Gangavar and Vishansar.

These lakes have mythological origins, are named after gods, and have interesting stories associated with them.

6. Hampta Pass

With tall, dark pine forests, glacial valleys and riverside camping, Hampta Pass is the complete package. The route includes over 40 sharp turns with beautiful views of Manali and the Kullu Valley. A short walk continues through a pine forest.

The murmuring of the river and the murmuring of the river fill the air flowing vertically along the rocks, making the mountain look like it has been carved with a machete. ‍

The long road to Hamta is a challenging climb through rocks and cold. And then across a river that literally tests your motivation. But the panoramic view of the waterfall. And the changing colours of the mountains at sunrise will keep your motivation unwavering.

7. Valley of Flowers

Valley of Flowers, as the name suggests, is a vibrant and beautiful national park with several flowerbeds and charming alpine flower meadows. Located in North Chamoli in  Uttarakhand, it is considered a legendary trek famous all over the world. It starts from the holy city of Haridwar and continues along the banks of the Pushpavati River. ‍

8. Sandakphu

Sandakphu is considered the best trek in the Eastern Himalayas. A truly spectacular trail, also known by locals as ‘Laughing Buddha’ overlooking Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. From Manibanjan, the entire route passes through  Singalila National Park. A distinctive feature of the Sandakphu trek is the opportunity to discover the rich culture of the Himalayan people who are so fantastic and fascinating.

9. Kedarkantha

Kedarkantha is a place lined with pine trees and covered with snow, making him one of the most desirable snow hikes in India. The hike is considered relatively easy, and while it is beautiful in summer, it is gorgeous and completely covered in snow in winter. Kedarkanta also offers a great opportunity to experience life in a remote Himalayan village in Uttarakhand. This is his March Himalaya trek at its best.

10. Brahmatal

Brahmatal’s magic lies in its lakes, its shady oak and rhododendron forests, its snowy meadows and its lakeside campgrounds. Much of the Roopkund trek can be seen from Brahmathal, including stunning views of Ari Bugyal, Bedni Bugyal and Junalgali.
